I commissioned my old friend Andrew Cortes to draw The Stapler in his own style. He was a huge influence on me in my early art days so to see him tackle one of my original characters is like coming full circle. Needless to say, I was blown away by the finished product.
I actually asked him to be my artist for this comic a few years back but he had his sights set on bigger and better things. Seeing his more professional style makes it clear he would have been wasting his potential on my silly little webcomic.

Those middle couple panels are a bit busy. I probably should’ve edited it so The Stapler & Calculator were farther away from the screen they’re watching. Oh well, I’m still learning.

The joke here is a little too easy, but this is more of a set up to the next mini-arc anyway.

I should really put more effort into these backgrounds…

I’m a little worried that last panel isn’t totally obvious. Seth/Staple-Man/The Copier did a strong two handed downward attack but The Stapler quickly dodged to the side and chopped the back of Seth’s neck to end the fight in one hit.

Not sure why I found this funny while writing it. I hate it when people act like someone is stupid for not knowing something in real life. Oh well! Finally the action is just about to begin!
